Rimini: excursions and itineraries by bike or on foot
Rimini and the entire Riviera Romagnola are a famous area loved by those who practice cycling, be it competitive or amateur. For your walks and bike rides, Rimini can offer you numerous alternatives, including paved tracks and others surrounded by greenery.
What’s more, the brand-new Parco del Mare is a place of well-being with lots of greenery for sports, cycle paths, an open-air gym and islands dedicated to health and relaxation.
Let’s not forget the long cycle path on the seafront, a 7.5 km route that stretches from the canal port to Riccione, offering a suggestive view of the sea as a backdrop.

Greenery, sea and sports
Among the best known and most popular cycle paths, we recommend the Marecchia route, a bicycle ride in Rimini and its surroundings on a gravel track about 20 kilometres long, starting from the Marecchia deviator and reaching the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Saiano, going through the XXV Aprile Park, the Tiberius Bridge, the charming village of San Giuliano and Villa Verucchio.
Instead, for those who love the city, we recommend the cycle path that starts from Piazzale Kennedy by the sea and goes up the Ausa Park in the midst of greenery, reaching the heart of the historic centre of Rimini, a few steps from the Duomo. The track continues inside the Cervi Park, passing through the walls and the Arch of Augustus, up to Via della Fiera and the lake of Cava in the large park of Via Euterpe, where there is also a fitness trail to train in close contact with nature.
All this can be done with our bicycles, which are always at your disposal for free! They are equipped with baskets, front and rear child seats, helmets, lights for evening rides. In addition, e-bikes are also available for the lazy!
